The Metabolism of Cities Living Lab, Director, Dr. Gabriela Fernandez and Director of the Center for Human Dynamics in the Mobile Age, Dr. Ming Hsiang Tsou presented at the ESRI User Conference 2023 in San Diego California to showcase their research on the SDGs along the US-Mexico border entitled “San Diego County’s Sustainable Development Goals Tracking Dashboard.”
About the research
The SDSU United Nations Sustainable Development Goals Tracking Dashboard is developed by the Metabolism of Cities Living Lab using ArcGIS Dashboards, and operation dashboards to visualize dynamic spatial patterns. The interactive visualization tool monitors, tracks, and forecasts cities’ social, environmental, and economic indicators to help cities localize the SDGs in San Diego County. The dashboard is a data-driven initiative monitoring of the UN Global Goals by 2030 and ensures no one is left behind.
