The United Nations “Leave No One Behind” motto is a commitment to assure the 2030 Global Agenda benefit all people, in particular marginalized groups. However, disadvantaged populations, such as homeless groups, are still getting left behind and not advocated for globally.
The SDSU United Nations Sustainable Development Goals Tracking Dashboard is a data-driven initiative lead by the Metabolism of Cities Living Lab in collaboration with the Universidad Autonoma de Baja California in Mexico. The dashboard supports the tracking and monitoring of the UN Global Goals by 2030 in cities along the US and Mexico international border. By strengthening diversity and deliberation in climate adaptation planning while ensuring ‘No One is Left Behind.
This project defines a replicable and flexible methodological framework for assessing the magnitude and distribution of marine pollution and impacts of beach activities. This analysis aims to provide comprehensive and harmonized information on plastics to deepen understanding on the management of marine resources using citizen science.
